Good morning, good afternoon family and friends. I am Anita John nee King. I am the daughter of Justin H.H.King. Aunty Margaret and my dad are first cousins.
On behalf of the Justin King family, I wish to extend our sincere condolences to her children and the entire King, Stanley and Johnson family. She will be greatly missed by my family.
Late Aunty Margaret use to always visit my family even though she lived far away. We are always in each other houses and she cared for my son David, when he was a child. That allowed me to socialise on weekends.
Talking of Christmas is another time we spent together. We alternated Christmas between my house and her children’s houses. The last Christmas we spent together was 2019 before the pandemic started. I am glad we did as she was not able to socialise after that. I was fortunate to see her twice last year before her demise.
I was pleased to have the opportunity to do so.
I always believed we will celebrate with her on 90th birthday but unfortunately, I received the fatal call that Aunty Margaret is no more. I missed her phone calls and her visits.
May her dear soul continue to rest in perfect peace. Bye bye Aunty, sleep and take your rest.
